Bev and Steve are brothers with over 40 years of combined thatching experience. Both have completed apprenticeships using all traditional methods and materials, resulting in a City and Guilds qualification. Our work has been recognised from The Master Thacthers Association.

The performance of Thatch depends on many factors including roof shape and design, the pitch, its position geographically, the quality of material and the expertise of the Thatcher.

Thatch is not by its nature prone to wind damage and experience has actually shown thatch favourably to other roofing materials.
